UK digital funding partnership

The Cinema Exhibitors’ Association has established the Digital Funding Partnership (UK) to help secure finance to allow small and medium-sized UK cinema operators to purchase digital cinema equipment.

There is an absolute desire on the part of most UK cinema operators to embrace digital technology. But many also recognise that they are extremely unlikely to be able to secure funding deals to allow them to convert on their own.

The CEA strongly believes that, for a significant majority of small and medium-sized cinema operators, the DFP(UK) represents the only option to achieve this. The Partnership has the full support of the UK Film Council.
