It was announced today that Cinema Expo International and UNIC  – the European grouping of trade associations, of which the CEA is a member – have entered into a formal partnership that will make the upcoming CEI 2010 the Official Convention of UNIC.

CEI and UNIC are joining forces to ensure that the European theatrical industry is provided with the best possible information on new technologies, industry trends and upcoming films and hears the views and opinions of a range of high profile speakers from the European Union. In doing so, the annual convention will be able to broaden the scope of its programming and attract the widest possible range of European theater owners and operators.
