The UK Cinema Association has announced details of its upcoming conference – ‘Unlocking Data and Technology – driving the big screen experience‘.

The event, which will run from Tuesday 28 February – Wednesday 1 March, is open to Association members and to colleagues from across the industry.

It will be held at two of Central London’s most iconic cinemas – BFI IMAX Odeon and Cineworld at The Empire Theatre. The conference will take an in-depth look at how data and technology can help cinema operators grow their audience and revenue and improve the big screen experience.

The first day (28 February) will focus on data, and in particular its potential to improve and inform approaches around marketing, retail, programming and audience development.

The second half-day (1 March) will shift focus to looking at the latest developments in cinema technology and explore their potential value to cinema operators large and small.

The conference will also provide valuable networking opportunities – over 300 delegates are expected to attend from cinema operation, film distribution, technology manufacturers and suppliers, digital integrators, architects/designers, property developers, financial and retail sectors amongst others.
