The acquisition by the Walt Disney Company this week of 21st Century Fox brings to an end an illustrious chapter for 20th Century Fox, one of the most widely-admired and respected of the major US studios.
The Fox films which have entertained the UK cinema-going public over decades are too numerous to mention, but share a golden thread of extraordinary story-telling , incredible creativity and a commitment to the big screen experience.
