UK Cinema Association welcomes announcement on opening of Scottish cinemas

The UK Cinema Association has welcomed this week’s announcement by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon that cinemas in Scotland should be able to open from 15 July.

Coming just a day after a similar announcement that cinemas in England would be able to open from 4 July, this represents another significant step forward in the recovery of the UK cinema sector from the devastating impact on the sector of COVID-19.
