Into Film, the charity established to help children and young people engage with watching, making and understanding film, has this month looked back on another extraordinary edition of its groundbreaking Into Film Festival.

Taking place from 7-28 November at over 580 cinemas across the UK, the event – the largest free cinema event of its kind anywhere in the World – involved over 380,000 children, young people, teachers and educators and featured as many as 85 differently film titles.

Supported by the cross-industry body Cinema First as well as cinema operators and film distributors from across the sector, the Festival as ever featured a wide range of free screenings, talent Q and As and workshops covering all aspects of the film-making and the big screen experience. The closing day saw a ‘pupil premiere’ of the hugely-anticipated Zootropolis 2.

The ‘thank you’ message for the event’s sponsors here gives a flavour of the excitement and enjoyment that exists around the Festival.
